Kind of.

If you call commuting back and forth to school an hour each way every day, rushing through two papers per week for school, all while trying to keep up with NaNoWriMo, and possibly making time to sleep every once in a while "alive." Oh, I just got a job too, so pile that on top of the list (and I'm even looking for a second one already fml).

You know what always happens to me, dear watchers? I make a list of cosplays I want to do, and then invariably, over time, I end up doing something completely different from what I'd originally planned to do. You know I've had a Summoner Yuna costume in my head for like two years now?

Anyway, my plans have changed. More and more, Otakon is looking like an impossibility for me in 2010. New Jersey Supernatural Convention is three weeks before Ota, and to save up the money to go to both is just... lol. Especially considering the fact that I'll be doing Class 1 policework over the summer and will be hard pressed to get so many days off. And, sorry guys, SPNCon wins out over Ota, especially considering this might be the last year they're doing them (if season 5 truly is the final season of the show). Not only that, but I already put down $60 for a photo op with THE MOTHERFUCKING GHOSTFACERS. YEEEAAAAH you're jealous I can tell. 8D I love those guys so much. And if J2 gets announced as going, all bets are off, and all my money is going to be poured into this convention.

THIS BEING SAID, the only anime con I'm gunning for this year is Anime Central, because my losery friends want to go, and I can't say no to them. My planned costumes for ACen are as follows:

Claire Redfield from Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles (RE2 variant)
Aeris Gainsborough from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children

I have wanted to cosplay Aeris since before I even started cosplaying, and now I'm finally going to, with as my Tifa and as my Cloud. I'M SO FUCKING EXCITED. I already have the dress and the boots; I just need to make the jacket and find a wig (because fuck if I'm styling that beast myself).

Dying my hair tonight. I had dyed it for Halloween, and I know I never posted any pictures of it, but I never planned on keeping it to begin with. For those of you who are curious, this is what it used to be: [link] Now it's a pleasant orangey-gold color with my hideous dark brown roots showing. B| Making it a wine red tonight. Maybe I'll have pics, who knows. \o/

Also, in addition to the Rob Thomas pictures I posted a few days ago, I have pictures from the Stephen Lynch show I went to on Wednesday. They'll be up, uhhh... eventually.

UPDATE: THAT DYE BOX WAS A LYING WHORE! My hair's not red at all -- it's brown again! MUTINY! MUTINYYYYYY!!
